Cookie Policy
1. Definition
A cookie is a file that is downloaded to your computer/smartphone/tablet when you access certain websites. Cookies allow a website, among other things, to store and retrieve information about the browsing habits of a user or their computer and, depending on the information they contain and the way in which they use their equipment, they can be used to recognize the user.
Depending on the purpose for which cookies are intended, they can be classified as follows:
- Technical cookies: these are those that allow the user to browse through a website, platform or application and to use the different options or services that exist on it, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted access parts, remembering the elements that make up an order, carrying out the process of purchasing an order, making the request for registration or participation in an event, using security elements during browsing, storing content for the dissemination of videos or sound, or sharing content through social networks.
- Personalization cookies: these are those that allow the user to access the service with some predefined general characteristics based on a series of criteria on the user's terminal, such as the language, the type of browser through which you access the service, the regional configuration from which you access the service, etc.
- Analysis cookies: these are those that allow the person responsible for them to monitor and analyse the behaviour of the users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through this type of cookie is used to measure the activity of websites, applications or platforms, and to create browsing profiles of the users of these sites, applications and platforms, in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of the usage data made by users of the service.
- Advertising cookies: they are those that allow the management, in the most efficient way possible, of the advertising spaces that, if appropriate, the publisher has included on a website, application or platform from which it provides the requested service based on criteria such as the content edited or the frequency in which the advertisements are displayed.
- Behavioural advertising cookies: they are those that allow the management, in the most efficient way possible, of the advertising spaces that, if appropriate, the publisher has included on a website, application or platform from which it provides the requested service. These cookies store information on user behaviour obtained through the continuous observation of their browsing habits, which allows the development of a specific profile to display advertising based on it.
